New Live Calls
On Tuesday, May 1 Milton Pediatrics will be transitioning to a new phone system. Our nurses will now be answering live calls from a queue system and you will no longer need to leave a voicemail for a callback. The live calls will begin at 9a until 5 pm.
Between the hours of 7a-8a, we will have our call hour where there you will leave a message and one of our nurses will call back. Between the hours of 8a-9a, you will be connected to our after-hours answering service.
Flu and Other Vaccinations
For all of our patients planning to receive the flu (or any other) vaccination, it is strongly recommended that patients come to Milton Pediatrics for vaccination accompanied by another person, ideally a parent/guardian.
If patients under 18 years of age arrive to Milton Pediatrics for vaccination without a parent/guardian, this person will be called in order to receive permission to administer the vaccination.
In addition, if any patient of driving age arrives alone for vaccination he/she will be asked to remain an additional 15 minutes to be monitored for any adverse symptoms or reactions.
