The AAP and CDC continue to recommend those ages 12 and older receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Studies have consistently shown the vaccines to be highly effective and to pose minimal risks. We do not currently receive stock of any COVID-19 vaccine at Milton Pediatrics, though we have applied to obtain doses from the state if and when smaller offices are given allotments. If you or your child is eligible now, you can go to https://vaxfinder.mass.gov/ to find a vaccination site near you. All ages can also pre-register for a COVID-19 vaccine, and you will receive instructions about available appointments when you or your child is eligible.
