Dr. Katherine Jin
Dr. Jin grew up in New Jersey, then attended Yale University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude. After two years working in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group, she attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, and received her MD in 2000. She then came back to the east coast to complete her pediatric residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, and subsequently served as chief resident at Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Milton Pediatrics, Dr. Jin was an attending physician on the inpatient pediatric units at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a recipient of the Sidney Farber Award and the Harvard Medical Student Teaching Award.
Dr. Jin has an interest in providing medical care and education to medically underserved communities around the world. As a physician volunteer of the Addis Clinic (addisclinic.org), she provides telemedicine consults to frontline healthcare workers in remote clinics in Africa. In collaboration with Ethiopia ACT (ethiopiaact.org), Dr. Jin has served with medical missions teams caring for marginalized people living in poverty in Addis Ababa.
Dr. Jin is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Her hospital affiliations include Boston Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Jin lives with her husband, Paul, her three children, Libby, Charlie and Nora, and Teddy, the best goldendoodle ever!
